Meet LaShanna

Hi, my name is LaShanna Kimmons and I provide in-home and virtual lactation visits. I have over 18 years experience helping mothers breastfeed. I’m a mother of 4 beautiful children. My interest in lactation came about in 2004 when my 19 year old was born at 26 weeks gestation. That experience of expressing breast milk for my then NICU baby sent me on a path of becoming a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor and then an IBCLC. With my experience of breastfeeding a preterm, late preterm and full term babies, I know there can be struggles because I too struggled in the beginning but went on to successfully meet my breastfeeding goals. It will be my honor to help you reach your breastfeeding goal.
